Artist Statement

The concept of drawings being capable of movement lingered with me before I could understand what animation truly was. 

The work I produce is an expression of admiration. Creating character designs and seeing how they interact with 2D digital animation has driven me since I was gifted my first drawing tablet at the age of 10. In my work I explore themes of grief, loss, escapism and adventure through fantasy; in the hope that one day, my work will inspire another kid to explore what animation is.
